  • SSD as Cache

SSD as Cache could speed up read-write of priority data. The buffer pool could reach 3.2 TB. And every controller is deployed with 4 SSD caches to speed up startup and reduce the wear of hard disks. Users can deploy and manage SSD buffer pool via SANMonitor GUI at ease.


 

Note: SSD Cache can increase read-write of frequently-used data in the buffer pool by 16 times (Actual performance might vary depending on the applications you may use).

  • Hybrid host with integrated iSCSI ports;

Each controller of InfoStor S1 is equipped with 4x1GB/s iSCSI ports. 8GB/s or 16 GB/s fiber ports, 6 GB/s or 12 GB/s SAS ports, and 10 GB/s iSCSI ports are optional. To improve efficiency and realize resource integration, hybrid host is necessary as it exhibits better performance and provides more connection options;

Super capacitor has a long service life. It can provide electricity for the system in case of emergencies and prevent key data loss;

  • Comprehensive data service

Snapshots and volume copy/mirror allows users to perform multiple backups quickly and easily; thin provisioning optimizes storage; automated tiered storage provides a best solution for hot data with high-speed drives; remote replication can create remote disaster recovery that secures data in case of a disaster. Besides, its compatibility with Self-Encrypting Drives (SED) makes the drive uncrackable if lost or stolen and meanwhile accelerates data destruction.

Compatible with SEDs (Self-Encrypting Drive) to prevent data loss if the hard drive is lost or stolen; data is deleted faster and unrecoverable once deleted;

It can replicate and backup remote data and replicate local data via snapshots or volume copy/mirror;

It applies intelligent media scanning and IDR (Intelligent Disk Recovery) to detect errors and clone affected data to prevent data loss. All functions could be used via SANMonitor GUI.

InfoStor S1 Series

 

An entry-level product with high performance and excellent flexibility.

Specifications include 2U 12 disk bit and 2U 24 disk bit compact. A 1 GB/s iSCSI management interface is embedded in each controller to allow unified management and monitoring via internet. Every system can contain up to 316 3.5-inch drives or 360 2.5-inch drives with CBOD expansion drawer. Maximum capacity is 1.9 PB.

 

InfoStor S4 Series

 

This is a high-performance storage device equipped with 12 GB/s SAS targeting customers with higher demands of storage.

supports both SAS and SATA drives. It has dual-mainboard and huge throughput capacity to smoothly run applications like media editing. It is also highly scalable and integrates SSD cache, automated tiered storage and auto-encrypted drives.
